Restaurant brokers share the microphone with Food Network star Ashley Vicos. They also discuss improvisational cuisine and funding your restaurant purchase.

Restaurant brokers Eric and Robin Gagnon discuss a Scottsdale Arizona restaurant find.  They report on "Posh" where the entire meal is the chef's choice.  This wonderful concept is known as improvisational cuisine.

These restaurant experts also share how to get financing in a tough economic time.  Sources include a 401K transfer without tax consequences, home equity line of credit, owner financing, credit card factorization and more. A strong restaurant broker will know all these sources of financing and be able to provide assistance to their clients.

Madame's Restaurant is also discussed including the "legend" of how Madame's acquired it's name.  This beautiful historic restaurant is for sale in Griffin, Georgia.  It's a great example of owner financing available with 50% down and 50% financing.

Following the segment by the restaurant brokers, the radio show featured Ashley Vicos, affectionately called "The Cake Queen" by Food Network.  She leads her motley crew of assistants around the country creating jaw-dropping, three-dimensional cakes for every type of event imaginable.  Donna questioned Ashley on the show about her amazing cake at Fashion Week along with a cake created for the Harlem Globetrotters.

According to her biography (found online at Foodnetwork.com) Ashley has been professionally decorating cakes for 11 years and owns Sweet Ashley’s, a private baking studio in Atlanta. Her in-demand cakes have become so popular, she also travels around the country baking for high-profile events and top-tier clientele. Born and raised in New Orleans, her passion for cake decorating began at age five with an Easy-Bake Oven and led to a career specializing in sculpted and custom cake work. In addition to creating one-of-a-kind cakes, she teaches small groups and private cake decorating classes. A single mom to three daughters, Ashley has been featured on Food Network, TLC, CBS, and NBC, as well as in American Cake Decorating Magazine and Modern Baking Magazine.
