What were the ten best restaurants for sale across the nation in February of 2020?  They ranged from our first-place restaurant in Fort Collins, Colorado, where a college-town gem attracted tons of buyers to our tenth-place restaurant in Austin, Texas, where a bargain-priced pizza joint beat out 488 other restaurants for sale nationwide to round out our top ten list.

We Sell Restaurants aggregates page views, calls, contacts, and signed confidentiality agreements across all our listings to discover which are the best restaurants for sale.  So, what did we learn while combing through these metrics? Although we still see the Texas market outperforming others overall, there's more variability across the top ten, with Georgia tying Texas for first place... maybe the warm weather is bringing buyers out of hibernation and into opportunity-seeking mode.

Aside from Georgia, the rest of the Southeastern seaboard including North Carolina and Florida also performed well which isn’t surprising given that the climate, tax incentives, and “Southern Hospitality” make for an attractive investment opportunity year-round. 

As stated above, the most popular restaurant for the month is a turnkey space in Fort Collins, Colorado that is fully equipped with newer equipment and ready for a new owner.  Throw in low rent, a full liquor license, fantastic location, and desirable breakfast/lunch hours (although the new owner could extend hours to net bigger profits) and it becomes clear why this listing was so hot.
