Restaurant Brokers Launch Radio ShowStarting Aug 3, a new restaurant radio show will provide insight to the nation's toughest industry.

Restaurant brokers and national authorities on the business, Eric and Robin Gagnon of We Sell Restaurants assemble guests each week to take on industry-related issues from a studio in the country’s seventh largest media market.

The Restaurant Brokers radio show, titled, We Sell Restaurants airs every Saturday at noon on AM Talk 920 in Atlanta Georgia. Robin and Eric Gagnon will discuss host an industry panel talking about restaurant topics ranging from menu design to restaurant franchises.  They will include top-tiered authorities on their topics including restaurant-chain CEOs, celebrity chefs and entrepreneurs.

Broadcast at noon in Atlanta, the We Sell Restaurants’ show is also available on demand from iTunes and YouTube.

Asked to describe their newest venture, Restaurant Broker Eric Gagnon says, “Our radio show can be summed up this way.  “We will Satisfy your Appetite for Acquisition, Feed the Need for Restaurant Reality, and Serve up a Recipe for Business Success.”

The show is divided into three segments.  The first two feature a panel discussion with industry experts.  The final segment of the show is termed “Restaurant Reality” a term coined by the husband and wife team to describe their willingness to tackle “tough” topics in the industry that “no one wants to talk about.” The hosts will share their experiences in selling restaurants and offer solutions on how to overcome obstacles in the restaurant industry.   This no-nonsense approach according to Robin Gagnon is because, “We’re not afraid of the four letter words in the business – the f-word ‘Fail’ and the s-word ‘Sell.’

The restaurant radio show kicks off on August 3 and includes a panel discussion on Financing a Restaurant Purchase.  Guidant Financial CEO, David Nilssen along with Foodstart.com founder Alex Sheshunoff and BB&T Vice President, Syliva Shiverdecker join the restaurant brokers on the airwaves.

During the course of the first show, David Nilssen tells listeners that “it’s OK to use retirement fund to invest” while Foodstart Founder Alex Sheshunoff  chimes in saying “Crowd funding is a great way to raise money in as little as 90 days.” The restaurant brokers continue the discussion of financing a business during the restaurant reality segment when they discuss options like owner financing and as a means to buy a restaurant will little money down.

The show is geared towards a national audience and is set to target individuals in the restaurant business including would-be restaurant owners, investors, and foodies. “We are excited to partner with We Sell Restaurants on this new venture,” said Program Director for Talk 920, Aaron Williams. “The metro Atlanta area has one of the most thriving restaurant scenes in the country, and we are looking forward to hearing more about the business side of the food industry.”

The show hosts are Eric and Robin Gagnon, industry experts and veteran restaurant brokers.  The husband and wife team are founders of We Sell Restaurants, the nation's largest restaurant brokerage firm.  They are co-authors of Appetite for Acquisition, a book on buying restaurants that was named best of 2012 by Small Business Book Awards.
